Sex Trafficking in Arizona
Dynamics, Demand-Reduction & Offender Accountability
The Arizona Human Trafficking Council, in partnership with the Arizona Prosecuting Attorneys' Advisory Council, will host a day-long training focused on addressing sex trafficking in Arizona. The training curriculum is designed to assist prosecutors, law enforcement, and advocates response to sex trafficking victims and hold offenders accountable for the heinous crime. The training features a keynote luncheon speech by Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery and closing remarks by Attorney General Mark Brnovich.
Topics will include: Identifying & Combating Sex Trafficking, Fundamentals of Sex Trafficking Prosecution, Demand Reduction, Victim Services, and Courtroom Challenges: Witness Preparation, Jury Selection, and Using Experts.
